Hi Folks,
I’m going to be doing a 2 hour retouching webinar with the folks over at RetouchPro in the near future; the exact date and time is yet to be confirmed however it will be fairly soon, but in the mean time I just wanted to ask a small favour…
I’m a little undecided at the moment which picture I should retouch so I wondered if you’d head on over to my 500px portfolio [Link], take a look through the images, and if you were to watch the webinar let me know which one you’d specifically like to see worked on from start to finish.
Once the date and time has been sorted I’ll be sure to let you know both on here and in my newsletter; talking of which Issue #2 will be going out at the end of this week so if you haven’t already you can sign up for free here [Link]
Right, that’s all for now so have a great day and I’ll catch up with you later,
Enjoy![]()

by Glyn
Daniel Halstead - I would like to see…
1: Brit Cops
2: Poor Cinderella
3: Reflective
Couldnt pick just one! (picking 3 was hard enough!)
Fabio Giraldi - Thanks for the opportunity, Glyn! Really hard to choose just one
If I had to, I’d say: “Poor Cindarella” (http://500px.com/photo/2250864).
Miljenko - Only one…? I’d like to see these:
1. Poor Cinderella
2. The Editor
3. Supermarket Trolley
Christian WAKE - Hi Glyn. I think The Editor would be great to watch. The post processing/retouching here is fantastic. It really makes a for a fun portrait and the look is quite unique.
Mark (cuuter55) flikr - Got to be chained for me although all the work would be great see being processed
Michelle Hedstrom - Little Boy or Powerhouse would be cool for me, but you know I’ll watch anyways
Denis Van Linden - The Alleyway and Samurai are one of my favorites.
But anny picture will do..
Thanks Glyn
Anki - I’d love to see the Barbell but any of your creations would be fine as all of them are just great.
Kevin Sharpe - Hi Glyn,
Tom the farmer would be the one for me, I saw on your blog how you shot this and would love to get an idea of the post production, as I shoot on a D3 too I’d love to be getting similar results, many thanks, Kevin
Nick McClelland - Little Boy or Lunchtime Break for me Glyn.
Neil - Glyn
Sorry to throw another in the mix but for me it’s gotta be Brit Cops. Looking forward though whatever you choose. Keep up the cool work.
vineet - Hi glyn,
I have a lots but it would be better if you could show one of the following
1. Poor Cinderella
2. Little Boy
3. The editor
4. Supermarket Trolley
Andrew Macpherson - I think that my favourites in your images might not give you enough to share in a 2 hour session, so I would suggest Chained offers you enough to talk through, and is a suitably disturbing image to give insight into the artistic processes as well
DaveT - It’s the ‘Alleyway’ for me Glyn.
This image is one that I would probably have a go at trying to produce myself. If I remember rightly it wasn’t shot in a studio, and therefore being able to produce images from shots taken in the street is something I would gravitate more towards.
Tim Pursall - Hi Glyn.
I’d have to go for ‘Samurai’.
Brilliantly processed and composed.
Look forward to the webinar whichever one is chosen!
Andi "DevelopingPhoto" Ramsay - It’s easily “Homeward Bound” for me. That’s a brilliant image, and one of your strongest pieces, IMHO.
Looking forward to seeing which one wins.
Glyn - Hey Regina…Thanks for that
Hope all is well with you, Glyn
Regina Pagles - Congrats, Glyn!
I would choose the Allryway…
Regina
Miguel Campos - It’s so difficult to choose a photo from such a great Portfolio!
I am a big fan of your work, and of course I have a favourite:)
I would go for The Editor or Chained
I hope it helped
,
Miguel
Todor - Too many to choose from – cabaret would be my choice.
Glyn - Thanks for that Darren; it’ll be interesting to see what other folks fancy seeing.
Cheers, Glyn
Darren House - Glyn you have asked such a difficult question!
So many amazing shots. From my personal opinion I would love to see ‘Mining’ This is because I love the light and effect but as a second choice it would be ‘The Alleyway’ and that would probably be a better choice for most people!
