Brighton Photo Walk gets the Thumbs Up :)

Hey Folks,

How’s things? Hope all is well with you.

It’s been quite a busy time here lately so Saturday just gone it was time for something different…a Photo Walk, and for a bit of escapism, socialising and Photography you can’t beat it.

The photo walk was held down in Brighton and geez did we drop lucky. Brighton is a fascinating place anyway with so much going on but even more so when we were all there as quite unexpectedly there were all manner of street parties, markets & fairs in full swing; even Mother Nature threw in some sun for good measure

With 35 people having registered to come along and join in we had a fantastic turnout and it was great to catch up with some friends I hadn’t seen for a while and also to meet so many new people. (Group photo above with just a few people missing)

We all met up at the entrance to Brighton Pier and headed off just after 1pm with my good friend James Hole leading the way and pointing everyone in the right direction to find some hidden gems.

Thanks also to my Buddy Dave Clayton prizes were on offer to folks who submitted pictures under the categories of Expression, Colour and Movement; all of which were in abundance

At the end of the walk I’d planned to bring out some lighting to go through photographing an acrobat/free runner on the beach front but it was then that the heavens opened and normal service (rain) was restored so we had to give that a miss; still…it was a great excuse for more socialising followed by a visit to one of my now favourite haunts…GBK (Gourmet Burger Kitchen)…deelish

All in all a fantastic day with a wonderful group of people from all over, so HUGE thanks to everyone that came along and made the day so enjoyable.
