How’s it going?
Today we’re talking about what’s coming up ‘abroad‘ and with 8 flights coming up between now and the end of October I guess now is the time I should start collecting those Air Miles
Two of the flights in the next few weeks will see me in the Netherlands and Germany and here’s why…
Netherlands Workshop with Frank Doorhof
It’s just over 2 weeks to go until I head on over to the Netherlands (my first time) to join up with my Buddy Frank Doorhof for a weekend of workshops.
There literally are just a few spaces left so BOOK NOW and don’t miss out on this one-off workshop weekend! Seriously can’t wait to get out there … it’s going to be such a blast!
Here’s what Frank posted this morning on his own blog about the upcoming weekend:
On August 25 I wil be teaching a very special workshop in English, now normally the group workshops in the Netherlands are always in Dutch, making it harder for our foreign students to follow (although the 1:1 workshops are always a good option of course, or you can book a group for a nice discount price in English), anyway… on August 25 I will be teaching a special workshop in English and the reason is the following…..
On August 26th and 27th Glyn Dewis from the UK will be visiting our studio to teach two full day workshops !!!!
Glyn does some amazing retouching in Photoshop and has a great way of teaching, I saw Glyn live a few times, including PhotoShopWorld and immediately knew that we had to get Glyn to the Netherlands to teach in our studio. He will be doing a lot of different techniques and also show you some shooting techniques he uses.
Photokina: Cologne, Germany
In September I’ll be heading over to Cologne, Germany for the Photokina.
Looking forward to this for so many ways as it’ll be my first ever trip to Cologne and my first ever Photokina plus I’ll be catching up and hanging out with my good friends Calvin Hollywood & Gabor Richter, Michael Mueller and Olaf Giermann.
I’m trying to comprehend just how big Photokina is because that’s one thing everyone I’ve spoken to that has been in the past mentions…“It’s HUGE” is the usual response.
If you’ve been to Focus on Imaging at the NEC, Birmingham before well the whole of it would fit in just one of the many halls at Photokina by all accounts; so much to see, do and
Manufacturers, exhibitions, elaborate set ups, demos, presentations it’s all there under one very big roof; oh and talking of presentations rumour has it I may be doing something there too
The World of Imaging will be at Photokina but it only comes around every 2 years so if you’re undecided about going just think…can you wait another 2 years?
Check out the official Photokina website for more details and tickets here [Link]
Hope to see you there.
Right, must dash so have a good one and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow,
