Hi Everyone,
How’s things?
I can’t believe that this time last week I was at the Photokina; scary how quickly the days go past huh :/
Ok so today I have a few things to share with you so without further delay, let’s go…
High5 Workshop
Next week we’ll be opening up registration for the brand new 5 day power workshop called…High 5 where I’ll be teaming up with my great friend Calvin Hollywood.
Why High 5?
Well High 5 stands for Edutainment. (Education & Entertainment) and what better way to learn, and learn fast, than by having fun at the same time? … and believe us, in this 5 day Power Workshop having fun AND learning tons of new things is what it’s all about!
- Day 1 & 2: Photography & Lighting (both in the studio and on location)
- Day 3: Retouching
- Day 4: Marketing
- Day 5: Networking
The price of the workshop will be €799 and based just outside of Heidelberg, Germany and will be in English!
Keep an eye out for the Registration launch next week!
Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk
It’s just over a couple of weeks to go until this years Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk.
Along with my buddy Dave Clayton I’ll be leading the walk in Oxford, UK and I can’t wait. If you’re registered for the walk be sure to keep checking back in on the official Oxford Photo Walk page from next week when I’ll start adding in some extra details regards to where we’ll all be meeting up, the route, plans for getting together at the end of the walk, competitions and more.
Also on the subject of the photo walk here’s a recording of a podcast recorded earlier this week with lots of tips and answers to any of your questions if you’re going to or leading a walk:
I see that someone commented on the YouTube asking what happens if a walk is full and you turn up anyway? Hey if that’s the case in Oxford, you can still join in with walk and socialising for sure…the only difference is you won’t be able to be entered in the official Worldwide Photo Walk competition as you do need to be registered for that.
Photoshop “Know How”
4 weeks today (28th October) will see the 2nd of my Photoshop “Know How” workshops where we’re concentrating on making selections in Photoshop.
Making great selections in Photoshop is one of those essential skills you need in Photoshop but can also be incredibly frustrating; so why not join me and let me show you some tips, tricks and techniques that will take your skill to the next level!
“Hi Glyn, Many thanks for your course yesterday. Tried the body/hair technique several times & feel very confident.” ~ Steve Foster
There’s still a few spaces left so head on over to the registration page and book your place now [Link]
Ok must dash…things to do, places to go and people to see.
Have a fab weekend and I’ll catch you back here in a few days,
Enjoy,
Glyn
