Hi Folks,

Hope you all is well and you had a great weekend.

Get up to much?

Well my sunny Sunday afternoon was spent on a disused airfield in the middle of the Oxfordshire Countryside photographing an Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

Now I’m no car photographer BUT I do think it’s good to get out try new things when it’s for a personal shoot and a bit of fun and let’s face it when you’ve one friend who owns an Aston Martin and another that owns a farm with a disused airfield…it HAS to be done!

Needless to say I had the BEST afternoon!

We spent a couple of hours taking pictures of the car; originally intended to be ‘lit’ but opted for the first shoot to go with natural light. As it happens in the morning we did have perfect cloud cover but in the afternoon all changed and we ended up fighting bright sunlight and a cloudless sky.

So the plan now is to retouch a couple of images and maybe go through one in an episode of my video podcast showing the steps including how to add clouds into a scene etc…

Couldn’t resist a little bit of filming too…all in the name of fun.

Question is…Did my friend REALLY let me floor his Aston down the Airfield??? Well you’ll have to read the video description on my YouTube Channel to find out 🙂

Have a great Monday and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow.
