Hey Folks,

This past weekend Mrs D and I headed down Devon…our fave part of the UK for a couple of days R&R (Rest and Recuperation).

Things have been rather busy lately and with lots of travel coming up, getting away for a couple of days break and some quality time together was very much called for.

Of course we got to see and spend some time with our dear friends Keith & Bridget at what is quickly becoming our second home, Spillers Farm but actually ended up staying elsewhere this time in a local stately home.

Keith & Bridget’s Spillers Farm B&B and Cottage were full with holiday makers which was great to see that the flooding Devon has suffered over the past months hasn’t affected business in the slightest…in fact quite the opposite 🙂

With nothing planned but to relax the weekend couldn’t have been better; taking in the sea air at Lyme Regis, sharing fish & chips on the beach, spending some time with dear friends and a mobile phone signal that was virtually non existent…Perfik!

As always seems to be the case when we go away I didn’t take my camera either and instead just relying on my iPhone for any photos; best camera is the one you have with you right? 🙂

It’s amazing how just a couple of days away can rest and recharge you…mind you I guess the 11+ hours sleep on the Saturday night had something to do with it 🙂

Have a good one and I’ll catch you tomorrow,
