Well, I’m now back from a what was a great week out in Tenerife, teaching at Photo Training Oversees 2015.
It always amazes me how quick time goes by and this past week was no exception. No sooner had we arrived and met everyone at the welcome day, classes started and the week was over, but it sure was a great week spent with a great bunch of people.
I got back home late on Friday evening so this weekend has been all about quality time with Mrs D and a little bit of catching up on emails as the internet at the resort was, well…sporadic 🙂
I’ve lots to tell you about and I’ll do that over the next few days so for today I thought I’d share a picture that I headed out for the day to Mount Teide with great friends Frank & Annewiek Doorhof (also out at PTO teaching) and Yvonne Michielsen.
Now I’m by no means a landscape photographer but I thoroughly enjoyed experimenting here as this was taken at night when it was pitch black; the first time I’ve ever taken night shots and experimented with long exposure times which in this case was 30 seconds. It’s not perfect nor is it award winning, but hey, it was great fun and proof that it’s always good to try something different as there’s always something to learn.
Have a great start to the week and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow.
