Yesterday evening I had the absolute pleasure of presenting to Catchlight Camera Club based in Belfast, Northern Ireland using Zoom, and talked about the Power of Personal Projects.

This lead into me talking about my 39-45 Portraits Project giving the story behind how it came about, how the portraits are taken, kit used, challenges on location, and of course the stories of those photographed. In the second half of the evening I then went through a few retouching tips, tricks and techniques that can be used on a variety of  images followed by a Q & A.

I just wanted to add this post today to say a HUGE thank you to everyone at Catchlight for making me feel so incredibly welcome and for your wonderful feedback. To hear this morning that the evening was well received is such a good thing to wake up to and I couldn’t wish for a better start to the day…thank you!

Also a HUGE thanks to Catchlight Camera Club for their incredibly generous donation made to my Fund Raising Campaign (LINK) to help Military Veterans young and old through supporting the Veterans Charity and the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans.

During the current Lockdown all of the presentations I’m doing for Camera Clubs all over the World via Zoom are helping to support veterans by each club making whatever donation they can.

All of the dates I had available for May and June and now fully booked but I’ll be adding July and August dates very soon and you’ll find them on my Camera Clubs page here (LINK) or by using the menu at the top of this page.

Keep safe and well,
