Regular readers of the blog will have seen me mention the National Association of Photoshop Professionals aka the N.A.P.P. [Link] on more than one occasion. Based in the US, they are without question THE organisation to be part of where you can learn from some of the most talented people in the World of Photoshop and Photography.
I’ve been a member of the NAPP from the very first day that I started using Photoshop and haven’t looked back since! In fact had it not been for the NAPP I may never have picked up a camera let alone start my own business.
Now did you know that there’s a NAPP Community in the UK?
My very good friend Dave Clayton is the NAPP UK Evangelist and works tirelessly on developing the NAPP Community and spreading the word; a big part of that being the NAPP Member UK Website.
Dave has been working extremely hard over the past few weeks/months redesigning the new site which was unveiled this week and geez what an incredible job he’s done! Not only has the site gone through a complete facelift but there’s now a blog that’s regularly updated, a NAPP US and UK Section, Gallery and more…
To mark the launch of the new site there’s a competition running until the 23rd May open to a Worldwide audience called ‘The Photoshop TV/Movie Name Game’ complete with prizes; you can check it out here [Link]
So if you’re a Member of the NAPP be sure to head on over and check it out and if you’re not a member then I strongly recommend you do the same…as in my case, it could be one of the best decisions you make!
