A couple of days before heading to Devon I visited Croxley Camera Club for the evening presenting a series of talks: Personal Projects/Steal like an Artist, Photographing the Muscular Physique and finished off by going through my Anytime Anywhere portrait kit and giving a quick 2 minute demo.

The picture below was one of the 2 shots I took of one of the attendees, John, who didn’t put up too much of a fight when being volunteered 🙂

With regards to this Black & White Anytime Anywhere portrait series you’ll see me posting about, in the near future I’ll be putting together a more in depth video for you so that you can see exactly how to do this technique indoors and outdoors, with small flash and big flash and when/why you’d use each plus light modifiers and positioning etc…

Shouldn’t take too long to get something recorded and this way those of you interested in replicating this kind of look will be up and running in no time.

As for Croxley Camera Club, a HUGE thanks from me for the invite to speak; I had a great evening meeting a great group of folks. So good to see people genuinely excited and enjoying an activity.

Catch you tomorrow,
