This email left me Speechless!

Just wanted to share this email with you that came through yesterday evening.

Reading it through left me speechless and feeling both incredibly happy and incredibly sad both at the same time; something I wouldn’t have though possible but when you read it you’ll likely see what I mean.

I guess the message here more than anything is none of us should underestimate the positive impact what we do can/could have on someone; that alone is reason to never stop!

Have a wonderful weekend and I’ll catch you back here in a few days.

That is a wonderful thing for him to have done. He is quite right too. I don’t think you realise that you do make a massive difference to people al over the world.

I won’t bore you with lots of stuff but I was going through a very rough patch after our business was hit by the recession. I was in a very dark place for a while and didn’t have anything to lighten my day.

I was bought a Nikon 5300 by a very kind friend. He thought it might give me and interest but I was stumped by so many aspects of photography and Photoshop that I gave up using it. Then someone else suggest your site and Aaron Nace’s Phlearn.

Between the two of you I started to learn and to get an interest in things again. I love the work you both do and look forward to seeing your videos on YouTube.

Thank you Glyn for giving me some motivation again. Other things have started falling back into place and I am starting to get a new business off the ground, producing t-shirts, caps, promo material and embroidered items.

I think you taught me I could learn new stuff and enjoy doing it. You won’t have realised it of course but you do make a difference to people’s confidence and that has a knock on effect.

Keep doing what you are doing. You do it very well indeed and to teach others is a great thing. I hope one day to book onto a workshop or see you at an event. In fact, I have my 50th coming up, so I may twist a few arms. 😉

    Kind regards Nathan

Great letter and demonstrates great character of the author.

AND well deserved by the recipient. You do enrich the lives of those of us who are older and love learning to be creative in PS.

    Thank you!
