Hi Folks

Today I’ve a new video tutorial for you (episode 75) and this time I take you through what I call ‘The Fake Medium Format Technique”

Now this technique which is most commonly known as The Brenzier Method is superb for creating images that have incredibly shallow depth of field but sharpness where it matters.

Anyway, save me explaining it all here, check out the video and you’ll see exactly what I mean…

As always if you have any questions / comments, then make use of the comments section below and I’d REALLY appreciate it, if you’d spread the word and let others know about my YouTube Channel.

Have a good one and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow.

Great tutorial Glyn. One thing I was wondering, if you use auto focus why didn’t the second, third shot etc refocus on other parts of the model?

    John Ross:

Re your question…in the video I say to lock the focus then take the remaining shots; this way the focus/DOF remains constant.

John asked same question so thanks for the answer Glyn, great effect and have to try it out.
