In today’s world of Digital Photography there’s those who prefer to use a light meter and there are those who prefer to use the histogram and LCD on the back of the camera.
Whichever method you prefer, neither is right or wrong but rather personal preference.
Me however, am for the light meter EVERY time. Now it wasn’t always that way has been since I teamed up for a joint workshop with my Buddy Frank Doorfoh in The Netherlands a couple of years ago when we discovered I had a faulty lens.
My own reason, as I suspect for all those who do prefer to use a light meter, are that it makes it possible for me to get fast, accurate AND consistent exposures wherever I am in any situation, be it indoors or outdoors.
So today I just wanted to give you the heads up that Frank has now released a brand new training video on the use of the light meter.
With over 70 minutes of instruction, Frank covers everything you’d need to know to get the best from using a light meter and does so by going through a variety of indoor and outdoor photo shoots.
Packed with information, tips and techniques, if you’re curious about using a light meter, use one already or have no idea why you would consider using one, then I highly recommend you check it…
