A quick post this morning as I’m heading off down to Brighton to finalise a few things for the Photo Walk this coming Saturday [Link]; really excited to see that every one of the 35 spaces has now been filled too 🙂
Now, anyone that knows me will be well aware of my love for Superhero movies. As a kid I remember wearing a red balaclava and mirror glasses, climbing up trees, on the garage roof and wherever else I could pretending to be Spiderman…but that’s probably far more information than I should have given you 🙂
I find these kind of movies and also anything with a mystical/fantasy/dark overtone such as Underworld incredibly inspiring for my own project shoots and edits; the recent shoot with Mehmet Edip definitely had the Underworld and Blade movie influence:
Anyway, talking of Superheroes and all that kind of stuff, on Monday I saw this superb Behind The Scenes (B.T.S.) video posted on FStoppers website (definitely one to check on a regular basis) giving a look into the making of the new Batman movie: The Dark Knight Rises.
When it comes to inspiration this movie is going to blow my mind but also one thing I really like the sound of from watching the video is that many of the stunts and special effects in the film were actually shot ‘In Camera’…Now where have I heard that before? 🙂
Right must dash as I’ve a train to catch so have a great day and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow,
