Hi Folks

Been a little quiet on here the past few days having been away last weekend then cracking on with the book as the deadline is looming FAST, down in Brighton filming all day Tuesday and then a photo shoot on Wednesday.

Thought today I’d share one of the pictures from Wednesday’s photo shoot which was with the Bicester Home Guard; such a great bunch of people who are extremely passionate about what they do and about educating about the history of the Home Guard during World War 2 and beyond.

Bicester Home Guard

On Monday I’ll have a write-up going through the Behind the Scenes for this picture and others but in the mean time you can see a LARGE version over on my 500px portfolio page by CLICKING HERE; hope you like it.

Right that’s all from me so have a fantastic weekend and I’ll catch you back here on Monday.

Wow! That has got to be the best portrait picture I have ever seen. What an atmospheric photo and what makes it even better is because that my brother, Philip Sanderson. He has been doing the HG for about a year and is very enthusiastic about being authentic. This has captured a timeless quality perfectly. Brilliant.

Hi Hev. Thanks so much for posting and for the kind words. It has been so wonderful meeting everybody from the Home Guard and learning so much already. Can’t wait to do more with them and build this project.

      Thanks for looking in,
