How’s it going?
Well yesterday we got back home after spending 9 fantastic days down on the coast in Sunny Devon.
Had a great time and feel completely refreshed and raring to go 🙂
Of course whilst away I’d been out and about busy with my camera and I’ll be working on some new pictures now I’m back. In fact a couple of the new pictures that I shared last week I’m considering adding into a Bonus Chapter in my new book as they’re not normally the kind of images I shoot and retouch and I think there’s a lot that could be learned from it.
Anyway today whilst we get settled back in I thought I’d share a video with you from our day at the Hawkridge Bird of Prey Centre where we had 1-1 learning about the birds and then learning how to handle and fly them free around the outdoor arena and then on a 2 hour Hawk Walk.
It was an incredible experience being so up close and personal with the birds; it made taking photographs a dream.
Check out the video and from 1:34 onwards where you’ll see Anne and myself 🙂
HUGE thanks to Rich, Sharon, Adrian and everyone else at the Hawkridge Bird of Prey Centre for such an incredible day; we’ll definitely be seeing you again.

Oh and if you’ve ever wanted to learn more about Birds of Prey, their care, handling and so on I’d highly recommend Hawkridge; their enthusiasm and passion for what they do was infectious and seeing people such as them all doing something like this for all the right reasons is a pleasure to see and an honour to experience!
Right that’s all from me for today…I’ve a new Peregrine Falcon picture to work on, so have a good one and I’ll catch you back here next time.
