Hey Folks

I hope you had a great weekend.

What did you get up to? Did you manage to get out and shoot for a project you’re working on?

This past couple of days I’ve been writing more content for the book (I’ll let you know more about that in a future post) plus I’ve been doing some more work on my Animals Project.

I gotta say out of all the projects I’ve ever given myself, this one I’m enjoying more than ever. I guess it’s because it brings together a few loves in my life: Animals, Photography and Photoshop…the perfect combination for me. I honestly do find myself excited to get up, get out and get on making more pictures for this series which will result in an exhibition and coffee table style book.

So on that note today I wanted to share the latest picture in this series that I’ve just finished which is made from around 12 separate images; the elephants themselves originally photographed at Whipsnade Safari Park here in the UK; I hope you like it 🙂

drink_little_oneIf you head on over to my 500px portfolio page [Link] you can see a larger version of this picture where you’ll notice all the extras details like the water ripples, water spilling out of the adult and babies’ mouths and so on…

Tomorrow I’ll post a run through showing a brief look at what went into making this picture.

Have a good one,

Glyn, thanks for posting your animal series pictures and the really helpful tutorials behind them. Looking forward to more and intrigued about ‘the book’.
