So how was your weekend?
Did you get up to much?
Starting the week off with a quick post as I didn’t get back from Dusseldorf, Germany until later last night and there’s much to get on with.
This time though…I was on the other side of the camera, getting a model’s eye view of things.
Calvin and I had been talking for a while about doing a picture together when Calvin suggested that seeing as we’re both Instructors, then why not do an Instructor Dewis picture. So a quick scout around the internet for some relevant clothing and voilà.
I’ll post the final picture here real soon but for now here’s a few Behind the Scenes picture to give you an idea:
In all seriousness I honestly think that being on the other side of the camera and being the focus of the shot is a worthwhile thing to do from time to time for every photographer.
Also modelling at the event was Jessica Gutzeit as the female warrior, Quasher was doing his Break Dancing and Artist, Dennis whom I met for the first time was there as Batman and what’s more he was wearing a totally authentic outfit that he’d made himself.
“If you’re name’s not down, you’re not coming in”
If you’re on Facebook definitely head on over and check out Dennis’ page [Link] where you can also see some other things he’s creating; the Iron Man suit looks incredible!
Following the event was After Party time when the inevitable ermmm Dance Off took place; this time with myself and Professional Dancer Quasher. Didn’t realise it at the time but what appeared to be the entire dance floor were looking up watching what we were doing, the lighting guys had put spotlights on us and the DJ announced it…such fun 🙂
All in all despite it being a whirlwind trip it was a fantastic couple of days with great friends.
Right, must dash so have a great Monday and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow.
