So yesterday I visited my friend Robin at my go-to framers, Pretty Like Pictures in Thame, Oxfordshire yesterday to get a couple of Fine Art Prints framed that I’ll be giving as presents this Christmas. Seriously cannot wait to see them now that we chose the right colour and material mount and style of frame that really compliments the old / classic look of the portraits.

I’ll be sure to share the results here and on my social channels (can’t do that yet because the recipients might see this), BUT on the subject of printing and framing I thought now would be a good time to share a video I recorded in late 2017 on Soft Proofing. If you don’t know, this is a process that enables you to see a preview of what your pictures will look like when printed on different paper types so that you can make any necessary adjustments and so get exactly what you want.

Here’s the video where I go through the process using Adobe Lightroom Classic.
