How’s it going?
Hey it’s only a couple of days now until the weekend which means…Photo Walk time!!!
I’m so looking forward to this coming Saturday when the Annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk takes place and with over 1300 Photo Walks and some 30,000 Walkers taking part this is a record breaking year!
This year along with my best buddy and top assistant Dave Clayton we’ll be leading a walk in the beautiful City of Oxford, UK and if last year’s walk is anything to go by it’s gonna be a blast, and with all 50 spaces filled up and more folks on the waiting list I just hope Oxford is ready 🙂
Here’s a video from last year’s walk alos in Oxford which I’m sure must have been the hottest day; fingers crossed Mother Nature smiles down on us again this time too huh 🙂
For all those of you coming along to the Oxford walk I’ve posted a few updates on the offical Oxford Photo Walk page which you can check out here [Link]. There’ll you’ll see details of the meeting place and time, plans for after the walk and also some news about some great prizes we’ll be giving away on the day.
This year rather than sharing photos from the day on Flickr as before, Google+ is the place where everyone will be able to connect & share with walkers all over the world.
So if you haven’t yet signed up for a free account check out the short videos below put together by RC Concepcion of the N.A.P.P. (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) where he walks you through the whole process:
Also here’s a couple of videos showing how you can use Google+ share pictures and connect with other Photo Walkers around the World:
Despite being a Photo Walk the event is so much more than that…it’s a fantastic way to meet and make friends with like minded people. I lead a walk in Windsor the very first year this event began and some of the folks I met on that day have ended up being some of my closest friends so the Annual Photo Walk to me is something very special indeed!
If you’re taking part have a great day this coming Saturday and in the mean time I’ll catch you back here tomorrow,
