Couldn’t resist taking a picture of our dear friend Keith of Spillers Farm in Devon during our stay…

As I disciplined myself to bring along minimal photography kit on this holiday, this was taken with my Anytime Anywhere Portrait kit that I’ve mentioned in earlier posts: Camera (Canon 760D), Flash (Phottix Mitros+) and Softbox (Lumiquest Softbox III).

I’ve had a few people ask about lenses that I use with this kit and use to take the portraits with, so I have with me just the two lenses I use with this camera: 50mm f/1.8 and 24mm f/2.8 and for this portrait I used the 50mm, which on the crop sensor of the 760D works out to being a focal length of 80mm.

Right, now we’re back from our time away it’s full steam ahead so best I get to it.

Catch you tomorrow,
Glyn

Another wonderful portrait mate. Just goes to show what you can do with relatively inexpensive kit and a good dollop of lemon curd…I mean knowledge. Sorry, its a foodie affliction. 😉
What I love about the gear today is you can really drill down to what it is you shoot. Then find a piece of kit that’ll work for exactly what you mostly need it for.
Nice work once again and really glad you had a brilliant time away.
    Cheers
