Hey Folks,

How’s it going?

Much planned for the weekend?

I’ll be giving my Photoshop Know How: Selections workshop this coming Sunday but a few things to do before then.

Today I thought I’d give you a quick look at some pictures from a recent Campaign Shoot which saw me up in Manchester…

For the photo shoot I was photographing a number of models from Bodybuilders, Cage Fighters/Boxers and Powerlifters with a view to the images being used in posters and literature advertising an Anti Steroid Campaign that will appear in Health Clubs, Gymnasiums, Doctors’ Surgeries and so on…

Now the interesting thing for my from all this was actually discovering how I ended up being contacted and then commissioned for the shoot; you see it all stemmed from an image of mine being seen on 500px quite by accident when the head of the organisation leading the campaign just happened to be browsing the web:

And this is the picture in my portfolio on 500px that was spotted and then lead to the commission:

Amazing the effort some people put in to save me editing time; this guy came pre Dodge & Burned 🙂

Thoroughly enjoyable day with a great bunch of people! Thanks too, goes to my Buddy Jonathan Thompson (kneeling down in the photo below) who drove over from Chester to meet up and give a helping hand.

And hey if you’re ever in Manchester I highly recommend the Chai Latte Cafe in Stevenson Square…totally delicious coffee and breakfast 🙂

Right that’s all from me for today so whatever you’re up to this weekend, have a good one and I’ll catch you back here in a few days,
