Today I’ve a new picture I thought I’d share with you from when I caught up with my friend, World Champion Kick Boxer turned Pro Boxer, Steven Cook; mind you I couldn’t believe it had been 6 months since we’d last seen each other!!

Anyway popping over to see Steven I forewarned him that a ‘catch up’ would also mean a quick photo shoot so I sent him over a screen grab of what I thought we could quickly do.

Here’s a picture I found whilst surfing around Pinterest (as I often do) that I messaged over to Steven and so after a chat we quickly dived outside into the gym car park and set up…

In the picture below you can see the set up keeping it really simple with just the one light, my Elinchrom Rotalux 135cm Octa.

The light source I used was an Elinchrom ELB 400 … a fantastically portable light kicking out around 400 w/s and the ability to sync at 1/8000sec using Elinchrom’s Hi Sync; although for this picture I wasn’t using anything like that but  I’ll be recording a video showing the Hi Sync very soon.

CLICK HERE to check out a LARGE version of the final picture over on my 500px portfolio page; hope you ‘like’ it 🙂

Oh and keep and eye out over on my YouTube channel [LINK] for a video coming soon showing how I created the warm / cool lighting effect in the final picture; and don’t forget to click the subscribe button too!
