It’s been a long time coming but earlier this week I finally managed to get my Buddy Dave Clayton in front of the camera so we could give him a new head shot.
Lots of BIG things in the pipeline are set to be coming Dave’s way in the near future and Dave was over at my house on Monday working on some material that will undoubtedly have an impact on how things progress; and to be honest I couldn’t be more proud and happier for him!
Dave’s one of life’s good guys and always willing to help folks out but what not enough people know (at the moment) is what an incredible Graphic Designer he is too; well for now all I’ll say is watch this space!
Anyway whilst over at my home and once he’d finished working on this secret project of his, it was time to grab a new headshot:
Really simple set up here which was kind of dictated due to the limited space available in my garage but hey, Adapt and Overcome right?!?
The set up was exactly the same as I’d used a few weeks before when again photographing in quite a confined space; CLICK HERE to see that post.
For those of you interested in knowing what kit was used, it was: Elinchrom Rotalux 135cm Octa for the white background, an Elinchrom 130cm x 50cm Rotalux Strip Box positioned horizontally because of the low ceiling and then a Silver/White California Sunbounce Mini Reflector to fill in the shadows.
I’ll be sure to keep you posted with all the developments but for now, if you’re not already, then make sure to follow Dave at the links below:
Catch you tomorrow,
•Oh and if you thought the face was familiar, you may recognise Dave from this picture from a while back when he stood in as a model for me at a Character Portrait Workshop I was hosting; Dave aka The Editor.
