Following on from the post last week where I shared the picture of Mac and Sam, I’ve got a couple more from that shoot to show you and have also included a look at the lighting I used…
Ok so in the photograph below you can see how this picture of Sam was lit.
I used the Elinchrom 175cm Octa with the ELC 1000 head and positioned it side on and forward of the subject:
Here’s a lighting diagram to give you an idea of how far forward the Octa was positioned so as to give the lighting pattern that I wanted:
Now the exact same lighting was used for this portrait of Mac (below); only difference being is that I zoomed in for a much tighter crop:
