Hi Folks,

Hope all is good with you.

Today I’ve a quick post to give you some news and updates…

Adobe Creative Days
Yesterday I was up in Central London all day for the UK leg of the Adobe Creative Days tour showcasing new features and updates to the Creative Cloud and available software.

In short an absolutely incredible day full of insights, wonderful presentations from Adobe Evangelists Rufus Deuchler, Paul Trani and Jason Levine plus external Special Guest speakers.

Downloadable Tutorials
After having been asked many times, from next week you’ll see a link in the menu at the top of the screen to ‘Tutorials’ and this is where you’ll have access to full length downloadable video tutorials.

Included in the downloads will also be the RAW files and full Photoshop file showing all the layers that went into the final pictures.

New tutorials will be continually be added after the initial launch on a regular basis so you can get to see and choose tutorials covering a wide variety of techniques.

On the 3rd and 4th August I’m taking my 2 Day Dynamic Duo Workshop to Halifax, UK.  On the 1st day we’ll be concentrating on the photography side of things covering Portraits, Physiques and Shooting for Composites.

After an evening of socialising in a local restaurant, on Day 2 we’ll spend the day working in Lightroom, Camera RAW and Photoshop to work through all the retouching.

In addition to this, I’ll be announcing a 2 Day Dynamic Duo Workshop to be held in Bicester, UK.

More details coming soon.

Filming with Adobe
Next Tuesday (11th June) I’ve a day in the studio filming with Adobe working on a project that will showcase how their software solutions can work together to produce a final product including video footage and still images.

Very excited about this and seeing how it all comes together so I’ll be sure to keep you posted here and on Social Media (Facebook, Google+, Twitter).

Right that’s all from me for today so have a good one and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow.

I have been disheartened and frustrated with Adobe´s recent moves to such an extent, that from being a dedicated Photoshop user since version 3, more than 20 years ago (and religiously upgrading every time since), I am now at a state that anything Adobe is such a turn-off that it makes my stomach turn and I am tuning out of anything Adobe. I know that it is a very primal feeling, but it has been like an old friend betraying me, and being left to find new friends. I don´t know how else to explain it.

Maybe I’m having a bad vision day but the tutorials link is not jumping out at me – what am I missing? 🙂
