Well Friday is here which means the weekend is nearly upon us.
Got much planned?
I’m off out into Ole London Town this evening with Dave meeting up with a few folks and then it’s workshop time on Sunday.
Today though I’ve a few things to share with you; bit of news and stuff so here goes…
If you’re coming along to the Dynamic Duo Workshop on Saturday 16th February I’m really excited to tell you that one of the models on the day is Steve Lewington and well, I thought it about time we went a little Hulk Crazy…can’t wait!!!
The workshop is SOLD OUT but the next Dynamic Duo Workshop is on Saturday 11th May and at the time of posting, over half the tickets have gone already!
Check out this [Link] for details and booking.
Over the next couple of days we’ll be adding in some new branding to the website; the layout is going to remain pretty much the same but we’re going to be changing the logos and icons and all that kind of stuff.
To be honest I’ve never been all that enamoured with my logo. In fact far too much time has been spent deliberating over logos in the past when really I believe it’s the name that should be the focus however that being said I did want something. So rather than me spend hours pulling out what remaining hair I do have, this time I asked Dave to see what he could come up with and this is the result; you may have noticed the change at the top of the page.
So what do you think?
I wanted to mention this past week’s episode of The Grid (episode 84) hosted by Scott Kelby and RC Concepcion plus Special Guest Cliff Mautner, for a couple of reasons…
- To say a BIG thank you to Scott for giving our London Photoshop Freak Show coming up on March 24th a shout out!
- To recommend you check out this episode because the topic of ‘Portfolios’ is covered and the show is literally packed with great advice: digital or printed, how many images, what images and so on…
You can check it out on KelbyTV at this [Link]
I’ll be sure to get some video footage recorded and will post a run through of what the day entailed plus some images early next week.
I just had to share this picture of my Buddy Calvin Hollywood and myself with you…
Finally, seeing as we’re talking about the High5 Workshops here’s a natural light photo of my friend Maciej Blaszczuk taken last week whilst out in Germany; in fact on the last day of the High5 Workshop as we were walking around Heidelberg Castle.
Maciej is a photographer based in Warsaw, Poland whom I first met a few years ago when he was in the UK for a workshop and we’ve kept in touch ever since; great guy!
Ok that’s all form me for today so go have yourselves a great weekend and I’ll see you back here in a few days,
