redeyePHOTOSHOP CC UPDATES – COMING SOON
On the 18th June (next Wednesday) those of you on the Creative Cloud are about to quite a substantial update across many applications.

I’ve been very fortunate over the past few months to have meetings with Adobe and be shown what’s in store and I must say I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas…very exciting indeed.

Anyway not long to wait now so here’s a taster of just one of the updates coming to Photoshop CC:

AARON BLAISE – PERSPECTIVE OF DEPTH / DISTANCE TUTORIAL
If you’ve been following this blog for a while you’ll know how much of a fan I am of my Buddy Aaron Blaise’s work and his tutorials.

We often say how much we as Retouchers can learn from traditional artists and in fact vice verse so here’s a Photoshop video tutorial Aaron posted recently that shows a great technique for adding depth and distance in your images; something so incredibly handy for those of you who like to create composite images.

So check out the video below and if you haven’t already then make sure you SUBSCRIBE to Aaron’s YouTube Channel where you’ll find lots more gems such as this…

TRANSLOCATION – GEORGE LOGAN (PHOTOGRAPHER)
Finally I’ve a recommendation for you to check out a series of pictures…

Talking to my Buddy Ben Brain of Practical Photoshop about my Animals Project and he sent me this link to work by Photographer George Logan.

George created a wonderful series of images depicting animals from Africa roaming around the Scottish Landscape; a project motivated by tales he used to tell as a child living in Scotland making out he was born and raised on an African Farm surrounded by wildlife.

Check out the Translocation project HERE

GL_RHINOS_WALLRight that’s all from me for today so have a great weekend whatever you’re up to and I’ll catch you back here in a few days.

Enjoy,
Glyn
