Today I  thought I’d share a couple of one light portraits taken this past weekend and also give you a look at the set up…

This first picture is of 2 x Kick Boxing World Champion Michael Graham:

…and here’s a look at the lighting set up so you can see what was used and how it was positioned:

Really simple shot using the 135cm Rotalux Octa from Elinchrom positioned forward of Michael and also angled back towards the ceiling a little so that we get natural light fall off down Michael’s chest.

Here too is another picture using the exact same set up but this time featuring Champion Boxer, Nathan Graham (Michael’s son)

As for the black background that was quickly and easily achieved using my Invisible Black Background technique that you can see here in this video that I recorded a while back:
