Another 4 hours shooting in the studio on Saturday, this time with Caroline Yandell, who has featured here on the blog in the past a few times having modelled for some of the ‘tester’ workshops that I’ve been running.
This was more of a collaborative shoot where we were working on images for Caroline’s modelling portfolio and also for images that are to appear in the Workbook at my upcoming Workshops. Talking of Workshops I’ll be opening up invites to the final ‘tester’ in the next few days so be sure to check back, should you wish to be included.
I’ll be posting more images from Caroline’s photo shoot later this week along with a lighting walk-through and will also be recording another video tutorial. This time I’m going to be covering ‘Content Aware Scaling’ that’s available in CS4; a tool I use on a regular basis in my editing work but not a tool I hear mentioned alot so I’m going to show you how I make use of it and how it may be something you too could benefit from. For those of you who aren’t currently using it, or may not even be aware of it I think you’ll be amazed at how much time editing it can save you.
Talking of ‘Content Aware’ and Photoshop there’s alot of buzz and excitement going round the internet at the moment about the upcoming release of Photoshop CS5 and the new ‘Content Aware Fill’ tool which I gotta say looks absolutely incredible. Here’s a link to give you an insight as to what’s coming our way.
