Hi Folks

I hope you had a great weekend.

On Saturday I was at Monkey World Ape Rescue Centre in Dorset, UK with a group of friends and photographers. Had a great day and managed to get exactly the pictures I was after i.e. a portrait and some full length shots to use in a new composite.

I’ll share some pictures from the day in another post because today I wanted to let you know about a GREAT ebook recently released by my friend and truly inspirational photographer John G. Moore.

I’ve become friends with John over the last few years having first seen his photography online which literally left transfixed! There’s so much I could say about John and his work but I could sum it by saying that he’s the real deal; a photographer who does what he does for all the right reasons and it shows in the work he produces…stunning!

johngmooreJohn’s portrait work is wonderful but it’s his black and white landscape work that leaves me checking online again and again to see if he’s posted anything new. It’s hard to put into words but there’s something about his black and white work that is so much more than a black and white conversion of an already incredible photograph.

So needless to say I highly recommend you check out John’s work over on his website by CLICKING HERE

John’s brand new ebook is called SPIRIT 2014 and to steal a quote he says…

After the critical acclaim the photographs I took in the Sierra Nevada received, it would be a real disappointment if they weren’t available in some medium to inspire other people to follow Muir’s ethos. I think his work to protect wonderful places of natural beauty deserves as much publicity as possible. We all need to appreciate and embrace what he did as it’s important that places like Yosemite are preserved for future generations to enjoy.”

SPIRIT 2014 is priced at just £4.99 so for more information and to purchase CLICK HERE

Highly Recommend!!!

Have a great day and I’ll catch you back here next time.
