Hi Folks,

Just to let you know that Episode #24 of my Photography, Photoshop and Lightroom weekly show is now ONLINE!

In this episode I revisit a video tutorial that I recorded some time ago now that shows another great technique for making selections of hair and this particular technique makes use of Photoshop’s Multiply Blend Mode and a Levels Adjustment.

Hope you like it 🙂

When it comes to retouching there’s never going to be a 1-Click Fix that works on every image so adding a collection of techniques to your Photoshop Tool Box that kind of do the same thing but in a different way is definitely the way to go.

As always if you have any questions / comments then feel free to get in touch by emailing me to or leaving a comment in the section below.

Also make sure you click on the SUBSCRIBE button so you don’t miss out on any of the FREE videos I share each and every week PLUS I’d really appreciate the support if you’d share the love and let others know about my YouTube Channel too.

Right, that’s all from me so have a good one and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow.

    Enjoyed that Glyn, thanks.

In an unrelated question… I had been stashing away the dosh to try and make it over there to attend one of the HIGH5 workshops with yourself & Calvin. Oddly enough, what started out with a considerable amount of fanfare in it’s origins, has now peter’d out to nothing.. No news, no updates, no collaboration, nothing…

    So what’s the crack?

I thank God you speak English.. To try and watch Calvin’s updates on YouTube with “CC” ON (German 2 English). He is excited and “horny” to be going to “Switzerland” and will be looking for “shrubs”.

    Hey John,

Thanks for stopping by and commenting mate; glad you liked the video 🙂

Re the High5 Workshop there aren’t any plans for more in the future but in 2014 there are workshop collaborations coming up (details to follow) with my Buddy Frank Doorhof plus I’ve some extended workshops in the UK, US, Europe.

    I’ll keep you posted.
