This week I’m thankful to have been invited to present at two photographic society evenings; Monday with the Bracknell Camera Club and Tuesday at the Master Photographers Association (MPA) Central Region in Kings Langley.
A huge thank you from me to everyone for not just the invite but also the incredibly warm welcome and the wonderful feedback; it’s such a buzz to hear that folks enjoyed the presentations.
Whilst with the Bracknell Photographic Society for a small part of the evening I went through how I shoot portraits for my Anytime Anywhere project using my fave carry around camera, the Canon 760D, a Phottix Mitros+ Flash and the Rogue Flashbender XL, and seeing as I was there with my dear friend Noel Hannan….the model was sorted too 🙂
Here’s the portrait I took of Noel that I’ve processed using the techniques I mentioned about a short while ago where I’m working on a look that gives the portraits more depth and an almost coming out from the screen feel. I’m not sure how well you can see that on this site so you can check out a LARGE version of the picture over on my 500px portfolio page by CLICKING HERE
On a slightly different note, now that I’ve taken delivery of the new DJI Osmo, we’ll be putting some time in very soon to film the full length tutorial showing how to photograph the Anytime Anywhere portraits PLUS covering the retouching techniques in Lightroom and Photoshop, and rest assured I’ll keep you posted as to when that will be available.
Right that’s all from me for today so have a good one and I’ll catch you back here next time.
