Removing Halos from Cut Outs in Photoshop

Folks

If you use Photoshop (and I guess you do if you follow this blog) and you ever make selections and cut outs, I’m guessing at some point you’ll have experienced getting those annoying halos when you make selections and cut outs.

Well here’s another short video I put together showing how you can get rid of them super fast and easy. Some folks have asked why not do this in the Select and Mask dialog and yeah you could do that for sure however as you’ll see in the video, this technique allows me to control exactly where I want to remove the halo as opposed to from off all the picture.
