How things? Hope you had a great weekend.
Well amongst other things, this week in the studio I’ll be shooting some Fashion & Beauty, Physique (Bodybuilder) and some themed/compositing work…and we’re talking a kind of Blade/Underworld mix; can’t wait 🙂
I’ll also be heading into Ole London Town on Thursday to record tutorials for Adobe and their upcoming Creative Week but I’ll let you know more about that in a few days time.
For today though I just want to mention about the webinar I did with RetouchPRO on Saturday…
It was great having comments come in from folks all over the World who had registered and being able to answer them as I worked through every step retouching my ‘Running Late‘ picture.
Throughout the webinar as well as going through all the steps that went into editing the background image, the London Gent and then compositing the two together, I also showed extra techniques that gave similar results but explained why one was better than the other. Plus…a HDR Toning Trick that makes use of the History Panel, Dodging and Burning tips and techniques, how to add more realism to your composites by matching colour between your model and the scene and a whole lot more…
Leading up to the webinar we’d had a number of ‘tech’ checks to make sure that everything including broadband connection speed and sound was all top notch. I’d got hold of a new Rode Podcaster Microphone…a chunky piece of kit but great audio so with that and an internet connection on steroids thanks to being on Fibre Optic we were cooking on gas. Only one minor freeze at the start of the broadcast but hey I didn’t end up knocking a pint glass of water into my lap this time just as we went live 🙂
- The show was GREAT and despite some technical difficulties (at the start) you were GREAT as well! WELL DONE!!! Way to go! ~ @zorkajay on Twitter
- Great Webinar mate. Alot to take in, but always learn something. which is what its all about. 🙂 ~ Lee Archer (Facebook)
- Loved your Retouch Pro webinar and look forward to your next one ~ Carol Williams (Facebook)
Anyway, from me…a HUGE thanks to everyone who kept me company by registering for the Live Broadcast and sending in questions and feedback…I had a blast!
As always if you have any questions or comments, then please feel free to make use of the comments section below, but in the mean time whatever you’re up to have a good one and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow,
