It’s finally been announced…
The 9th Annual Scott Kelby World Wide Photo Walk is set for Saturday 1st October 2016!
A world record breaking event now in it’s 9th year, the 2015 Photo Walk saw over 1,100 Cities across the world taking part with photographers of all levels of experience and interest taking part.
Last year I hosted a walk in the gorgeous City of Warwick and boy did they pull out all the stops with the Lord Mayor and Town Crier not only welcoming us but walking with us too giving a running commentary of Warwick’s immense history.
This year I’m hosting a walk in the beautiful City of Lichfield; a City I spent so many great times in as a child growing up locally. Lichfield has so much to offer with it’s Cathedral, Stow Pool, cobbled streets, Market and so much more and I’m just so happy to be bring the WWPW there after such a long absence.
If you’ve taken part in the World Wide Photowalk before you’ll know what a great day it is. Strange as it may sound, it’s not really about the photography but is most definitely about the social aspect; hanging out for the day with like minded people, making friends and meeting up with old. I’m proud to say that from the very first ever WWPW some of the people I met there have become my nearest and dearest friends so the event really does hold a special place in my heart.
So if you’d like to come and join me for the day and lots of other folks, then head on over to the World Wide Photo Walk page and grab your place; it’s FREE but spaces are limited to 50 for each hosted walk!
