Hey Folks,

Hope all is well with you 🙂

Lots going on here at the moment so before I head off searching for some more hours in the day I just wanted to give you a sneak peak at a photo shoot from earlier this week…

The Voice of Neil Diamond
I’m going to be working on the images over the next few days but to give you an idea of what I was working on here’s a look at the Grid View in Lightroom showing a selection of images…

I was working in a theatre shooting a great guy by then name of Stuart Warren who has the most incredible singing voice; in fact he actually tours singing as The Voice of Neil Diamond.

Regular readers may well recognise the name as Stuart modelled at one of my workshops earlier this year and appeared in the Running Late picture:

The first time I met Stuart was at a friends wedding a few years ago; I could hear what I thought was a CD playing in one of the hotel dining rooms only to discover it was Stuart practicing for his evening’s performance. I kid you not…the hair on the back of my neck stood on end…such was the quality and likeness of his voice to Neil Diamond!

The purpose of the shoot was to produce promotional material for Stuart and shooting in an empty theatre was fantastic but also interesting because of all the different coloured lighting and style of lighting at our disposal.

Anyway I’ll be working on these images in Photoshop over the next few days…adding more life and drama to the stage performing shots (as it was empty during our time there) to give the impression of it being a ‘Live’ performance. I’ll be sure to share them and the background info as soon as they’re ready.

Right, that’s all from me so have a good one and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow,

Enjoy,
Glyn 🙂

Looking forward to seeing your results, as this is a concept I’ve really been tempted to try with my clients.
