With December fast approaching and dare I say it, Christmas, I’m looking forward to creating some on location images with snow scenes. However I say that with fingers firmly crossed because last year we amazingly had no snow at all which is why I ended up working on some techniques in Photoshop for faking it.
The videos below are from two episodes of my weekly YouTube Photography and Photoshop series so I thought today I re-share them with you just incase you missed them last time.
In the first video I show you how to use Photoshop’s Color Range to create a winter scene complete with snow on the ground and on the branches of trees…
In this second video we then take it a step further as I show you how to create realistic looking falling snow and even turn it into a brush that you can then use quickly and easily in other pictures.
Enjoy,
Glyn
