Spot the Difference

Hi Folks.
Real busy this week ‘topping and tailing’ everything ready for the Workshop this weekend amongst other things so I thought I’d give you a quick look at a tutorial idea…

From time to time I’ll be contacted by clients asking that I retouch some of their photographs, which happens to be Wedding Photographs for the majority. The retouching/editing can be as simple as just brightening up the images, improving the colour and removing unwanted objects but I actually remember one time when I was asked to add the bride into a number of photos because the photographer had missed her out…go figure!

Anyway, a recent retouch wasn’t quite so dramatic a request as that…

Spot the Difference:
In this particular case, apart from working on the colour/tone of the picture and a couple of other minor tweeks, I was asked if I could move the position of the dress strap and do something about the ‘tan line’ on the woman to the far left of the group…

So, as the next few days are going to be really busy I thought I’d put together a tutorial next week showing exactly how it was done. I’ve not made my mind up just yet whether to do a video or a written walk through but rest assured, you’ll be the first to know.

Enjoy 🙂

hehe, i wouldn’t have noticed. curious to learn how you did it of course and surely something very practical to learn too.
so far i’ve restrained myself to cloning stuff out, i don’t think i’d know how to invisibly draw a new dress strap… anyways.
