I’m just about to head off for a meeting with my web guy to go through some techno stuff about setting up the downloadable tutorials but before I go I’ve just a couple of things…
First off…a Thank You!
Thanks to everyone of you that visits my 500px Portfolio Page and takes the time to leave a Comment and/or click on the Like Button.
I just wanted you to know your support is very much appreciated!
Secondly, this past weekend I was up in Halifax putting in some preparation and planning time for my Dynamic Duo Workshop that I’ll be running there in September (Link)
Whilst there we put the word out that it would be quite cool to get in some personal shooting time and for a change really fancied taking some more car shots; not that I’m even considering moving into that line of work…it’s just that it’s well..fun, something different and like I’ve said before, it’s amazing how much you can learn by giving something new a try…and we should always be open to learning more right?
Anyway we put the word out and came up trumps with the opportunity to shoot a white Aston Martin V12 Vantage; an absolutely stunning car which we photographed overlooking the Yorkshire Countryside and also a Classic Car that took me way back to my childhood and the days of watching The Professionals on television…a Ford Capri 280.
I’m working through the retouching on the Aston Martin and should have that ready in a couple of days but for now here’s a sneak peek at the Capri…
Incidentally tomorrow Episode 9 of my Photography, Photoshop and Lightroom video podcast show will be online and although I’m not going to go through all the retouching steps I’ve a cool little tip/technique for when using 3rd Party Plug Ins and I show it on the Capri picture.
Right, must dash so have a good one and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow.
