Hey Folks,

Just want to say a huge thanks to everyone who came along yesterday afternoon to the very first of my brand new Photoshop “Know How” series of workshops.

“Thanks for an awesome course today. Looking forward to the rest of the series when you have time to fit them in.”~ Helen Jackson

We had a full house of attendees for the 4 hour workshop and kicked off by looking at selections and to be more specific…how to master cut outs. Lots of tips, tricks and techniques to help take the mystery, and let’s face it…the frustration that can be experienced when making selections and cut outs.

“Hi Glyn, Many thanks for your course yesterday. Tried the body/hair technique several times & feel very confident.” ~ Steve Foster

Starting off with basics i.e. what is the lasso tool, what is the elliptical marquee tool, what’s feathering all about? and so on, and then moved through to more advanced selection techniques such as showing how to get the very best results from Refine Edge and working through retouching some images to show how to apply what was being covered.

“Workshop over, great day learning selections and selection skills. Brilliant group of attendees today, very receptive. Congrats” ~ Dave Clayton

Tomorrow I’ll give you a sneak peek at what we worked through; for example…cutting out a model with blonde hair from a white background and retaining all the fine hairs, and what’s more doing it very quickly and easily.

In the mean time have a great start to the week and again, thanks to everyone for coming along and for making it a great afternoon and start to this Photoshop “Know How” workshop series.

Catch you tomorrow,

ps> I’ll be releasing more dates for the Photoshop “Know How” workshops in the next few days so keep an eye out for my free newsletter that I’ll be sending out in the next few days.
