The ‘Glyn Dewis’ Anti Theft Device 🙂

Hey Everyone,

How’s things?

Hope you’ve had a good week.

Those of you with me on social media (Facebook, Google+, Twitter) may have seen that when I got back from Germany last week I ended up losing my iPad.

Totally my fault having put it in the back of the seat in front of me on the aircraft as we were coming in to land at Heathrow and then forgetting to pick it up…doh!

Didn’t realise until I’d got home and despite contacting the airline it’s not materialised. I’ve even been checking the Find my iPhone App every other minute but nothing. So I’ve kind of accepted the fact that some light fingered tea leaf now has a nearly new iPad 3 or new iPad whatever it’s called and have now bought an iPad Mini; lesson well and truly learned I can tell you!

Anyway I’ve a cunning plan…an idea for an anti theft device should I have a momentary lapse of concentration again in the future; a way to deter any potential permanent borrowing of my iPad or iPhone…

I mean who in their right mind would lift something with this character start back at them from the lock screen huh 🙂

Joking aside…HUGE thanks to my buddies Calvin Hollywood and Gabor Richter for these pictures.

Those of you who saw the post earlier this week, this is the final Instructor Dewis picture that Calvin did from last weekends event in Germany; love it…thanks Buddy!

Right have a great weekend whatever you’re up to and I’ll catch you back here in a few days.

Well that’s terrible. Some folks don’t respect other’s property. I’ve had a couple expensive electronic devices nicked and I know that feeling of being violated is much worse than the actual theft of the device.

I had to look up the slang “tea leaf.” Haha!

But notice my correct use of the word nicked in the first paragraph. It comes from watching too much Law & Order UK on BBC America. 🙂

Just something I have to put down to experience I guess 🙁

Might I suggest tracking software. I’ve never used it anger but when I can’t remember where I left tablet/phone it’s a doddle to find the location.
