From Concept to Print
I’ll be announcing the new dates for the From Concept to Print Workshop: A full ‘hands on’ day of Photography and Photoshop Retouching and Compositing Techniques which will be in February and March 2012.
One more thing…
I’m also thinking of putting together a 1 day ‘On Location’ Workshop photographing a model using only Speedlights for the first half of the day, with the second half covering Photoshop Retouching Techniques. More details will be posted soon but the idea here is to acknowledge that not everyone has access to a studio and all the equipment that comes with it, but most folks do have a Speedlight or 2 and Photograph outdoors. This is where I’ll show you exactly the kind of lighting I use ‘on location’ and then how I retouch images to get the final look that I’m after. (Look out for an upcoming review of the SaberStrip here in the next couple of days to give you an idea of the kind of set ups and images I’m talking about.)
Right, that’s all for now so as always if you have any questions/comments then please feel free to make use of the comments section below. Actually, talking of comments…let me know what you think about the ‘Speedlight’ workshop and indeed if you think this would be useful.
