Today I’ve some video related content to let you know about:
- My NEW full length downloadable retouching tutorial
- Software for recording your computer screen
- Tutorials for improving sound in your videos using Adobe Premiere Pro CC
Ok so let’s get started…
RUNNING LATE: Photoshop Retouching Tutorial
One of the things I’m committed to for 2014 is to add a minimum of one new downloadable tutorial to the web store each month. However January will see two, namely Sleeping Beauty and this one called Running Late.
Over the coming weeks and months I’ve shoots being planned which will see new techniques being shown as what I want is for each picture to bring something different to the table.
As an example, kicking off with Running Late you’ll see a new approach to building the background using Vanishing Point; this way you can make a background from anywhere!
Check it out in my web store from Monday 13th January 2014 [Link]

SCREENFLOW: Everything you need to make the Perfect Screencast
As someone who produces video content such as a weekly iTunes Podcast and YouTube content one of the questions I get asked quite often is what software I use to record my screen.
So just to let you know, the one I choose to use is SCREENFLOW from Telestream which is only available for Mac; great price and real easy to use.
ScreenFlow does have a lot of functionality available to enabling you to edit the video, add transitions and more but to be honest I use it purely to record my screen. For editing I’ll export the video from ScreenFlow and then take it over into Premiere Pro CC.

HOW TO: Improve the sound in your videos
One thing I’ve very quickly learned is that when it comes to video…Great Sound is VITAL!
In fact as Adobe Evangelist Terry Ryan says in these two videos, “The secret to professional looking video, is professional sounding audio”
So, in these two videos which I caught in the Adobe Inspire eMagazine, Terry shows how you can very quickly and easily improve the sound quality in your videos when editing in Adobe Premiere Pro CC; seriously impressive!
