Hey Folks,

How’s it going?

Friday already? Got much planned?

Before we head into the weekend I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at some ongoing work from this past week…

Peter Pan
At the beginning of the week I was back with the Theatrical Company I worked with last year when I photographed promotional material for their Christmas Production of Cinderella.

This year the production is Peter Pan with Captain Hook being played by British TV & Film Actor Chris Ellison; famed for his role as Burnside in British TV Police Drama series The Bill.

I’m going to be finishing the retouching of all the images over this coming weekend so next week I’ll give you a look at some of the results which include a Pirate, a boy who can fly, a Pantomime Dame and a Parrot…just another normal day in the life of Glyn Dewis huh 🙂

Also there’s something else I’ll share with you regarding making Selections in Photoshop; a super cool technique that has worked great selecting very fine hair and feathers in the pictures…a kind of Turbo Boost for Refine Edge, so I’ll look at maybe putting together a short video for that.

Of course the technique has also now found a home amongst others that I go through at my Photoshop Know How workshop series and will also be in my Selections book (Coming Soon…I promise)

That reminds me, next week I’ll be posting new dates for the next round of Photoshop Know How workshops plus other 1 day, 2 day and 1-1 trainings but before they’re posted here, I’ll be announcing them in my free newsletter which will have Special Offers available to subscribers!

You can subscribe to the free newsletter here [Link]

Thanks for stopping by and whatever you’re up to have a great weekend and I’ll see you back here in a few days,

Glyn could you offer some advice on how to produce believable reflections. Just checked out your picture Chanel on White. I think you used Perspex on the floor for the shoot. How can this effect be duplicated in photoshop. Have flipped and graduated and puppet warped but cannot get the reflection to match the capture. Any suggestions ?
