Hey Folks,

How’s it going?

Just a couple of things today: a workshop update and a new & nearly finished picture.

Dynamic Duo Workshop: Sold Out!
Well the very first of the revamped 1 day workshops now called Dynamic Duo has Sold Out!

So why is it called Dynamic Duo?
This is a full on 1 day workshop where for the first part of the day we’re going through all the photography from lighting set up, camera settings and then shooting to capture images that we’ll then be working through and retouching in Photoshop during the second part of the day.

You can check out more details of what the workshop entails here [Link]

A new date is planned for April so if you’d like to be added to the waiting list feel free to contact me via email (glyn@www.glyndewis.com) or through the Contact Page [Link]

Spriggan Mist: Work in Progress
Ok so I just thought I’d give you a sneak peek at some work in progress.

The Before and After pictures below are from a promo shoot with a band called Spriggan Mist.

I’ll be posting a walk through next week going through the lighting set up and then the retouching but will also be recording a video tutorial showing a part of the retouch too. I’m thinking maybe showing how the sky was selected but if there’s anything else you’d like to see then feel free to leave a comment below.

Ok that’s all from me for today as I need to head out the door and into London; Christmas shopping and a sneaky visit to the Apple Store in Covent Garden 🙂

Whatever you’re up to, have a great day and I’ll catch you back here tomorrow,
Enjoy,
Glyn

Looking forward to seeing the walk through on the Spriggan Mist shot.Apart from the selection of the sky, I’d like to see what you do with the image to get the look you finish up with.

Hope you had your wallet under lock and key in the Apple store Glyn;-)

Love the Spriggan Mist photo. Any chance of a future “day to night” video tutorial? 🙂
