🎨 Photoshop & Lightroom Updates

Photoshop v26.11 (desktop) This update includes Projects to enhance collaboration, bug fixes and performance improvements.

📱 Mobile Apps (iPhone + Android where available)

Procreate 5.4 (iPad/iPhone) - adds custom brush libraries, brush search, thumbnails/icons for brushes, and improved brush organisation workflow.
Samsung One UI 8 - rolling out for Galaxy S25 series. Adds multimodal AI (vision, audio, text), real-time translation, new customization tools, and enhanced security features.

🤖 AI in Creativity

Midjourney V1 Video Generator - first video model released. Animate stills or uploads into 5 - 21 second clips with motion settings.
Midjourney Lawsuit - Warner Bros Discovery has filed a lawsuit against Midjourney, alleging copyright infringement for generating images of iconic characters such as Superman, Wonder Woman, and Bugs Bunny without permission.
Runway Gen-4 Updates - now supports references for consistent characters/objects, and the Gen-4 Image model is available via the API for integration into apps and websites.
Google Gemini in Chrome - Gemini chatbot button added, plus synthesis tools that summarise info across multiple open tabs. Available now for US desktop users (English), coming soon to iOS and Android.
YouTube Studio AI Tools - new creator features include: • Auto-Dubbing with Lip Sync - translates and matches lip movements. • Ask Studio - an AI assistant inside Studio for advice, tips, and channel management.
Pika Labs Social Video App (iOS) - invite-only social app released, lets you generate selfie - or prompt-based videos with audio. Android coming soon.
Veo 3 in YouTube Shorts - YouTube integrates Google’s Veo 3 directly into Shorts: generate 8-second videos with text prompts, cinematic styles, and sound.
Kling AI v2.1 - adds Start & End Frames feature for better control of video sequences.
Kaiber Superstudio - introduces an infinite canvas workspace for combining image, video, and audio models in a single creative flow.

🎒 Gear & Kit

DJI Mini 5 Pro - new sub-250g drone featuring a 1-inch 50MP sensor, 4K/120fps video, 10-bit D-Log M, 14 stops dynamic range, and a 225° roll gimbal for vertical/horizontal shooting. Adds LiDAR-assisted night sensing, ActiveTrack 360°, and up to 36 minutes flight time.
Firmware v01.00.0300 - first update adds improved low-light 50MP photo mode, faster QuickTransfer, and support for QuickTransfer activation via side button. 👉 DJI Release Notes (PDF)

🔧 Firmware Updates

• Nikon: Z 8 firmware v3.10 released on 17th Sep 2025. Minor changes including spec adjustments that affect uninterrupted shooting. Link: downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com+1
