TIMELAPSE: Dandelion opening in Morning Sunrise

Since we all started living with restrictions due to the current Covid-19 Pandemic, I’ve been enjoying getting out and experimenting with other genres of photography as I’m unable to take portraits.

Before this time I guess you could say I was a strict portrait photographer in that, if I wasn’t taking a portrait, then my camera remained in my camera bag. I never felt the urge to try anything else.

Landscapes, Seascapes and Woodland is not only proving to be a heck of a lot of fun and a great way to keep the tools in my hand and keep in a creative frame of mind, but also good for well-being being outdoors in the fresh air.

I’ve also been creating more and more time-lapses; not just for my own videos but as stand-alone videos purely for the enjoyment of it all.

Here’s one I made this week showing a Dandelion opening as the morning sun warms the ground; I’ve also included a Behind the Scenes so you can see how it was done…

CaseRelay from TetherTools

I mention this piece of kit in the video as I did in my previous post; such a useful peice of kit and great that it doesn’t break the bank when it comes to £ too.

Does exactly what it is designed for, keeping your camera supplied with power for as long as you want meaning you can do so much more for and for so much longer and without buying expensive batteries.
