During the Covid-19 restrictions, when I was unable to take portraits, I really enjoyed getting out and experimenting with other genres of photography. Before then I was a strict portrait photographer; if I wasn't taking a portrait, my camera stayed in my camera bag, and I never felt the urge to try anything else. Landscapes, seascapes and woodland proved to be a lot of fun, a great way to keep the tools in my hands and stay in a creative frame of mind, and good for my well-being too, being outdoors in the fresh air. I also started creating more and more time-lapses, purely for the enjoyment of it. This one shows a dandelion opening as the morning sun warms the ground, shot over four hours with 10 seconds between shots, 1,088 photographs in all, along with a behind the scenes look at how it was made.
