So the other day I met up with one of my closest friends, Steve Healy, for one of our regular catch ups / photo walks / breakfasts.
We try to do this near enough each week (commitments depending) and for both us it's a great opportunity to relax, unwind and just hangout. I love it.
The other day though, completely out of the blue, before we took a step, Steve gave me a wrapped present ... a Fuji X100 VI š²
To say I was (and still am) blown away is understatement.
Even now, days later, I just don't know what to write that would come close to how I feel.
All I can say is that I love it, I'm overwhelmed, I'm ... I'm ... yeah lost for words.
It's no secret that I'm changing brands for my work camera but for everyday, always with me photography, this camera is such a dream, and now I have one, now and in the future it'll make me think of a dear friend ... and that's really special.
I'm very much someone that loves to give gifts than receive them, and Steve's the same, so he, more than anyone, knows how much this means to me!
Steve ... love you Buddy!
